The Crypt Chapel of St Peter

Cardinal Wiseman's tomb

The first two Cardinal Archbishops of Westminster are laid to rest beneath the high altar of Westminster Cathedral.

Their tombs, and those of several other English Cardinals, are approached by descending to the crypt, dedicated to St Peter, which occupies the whole space under the retro-choir.
